Advocacy for Assistance Dog handlers

As a disabled owned business, we pride ourselves on our experience driven approach to advocacy – if it’s got anything to do with Assistance Dogs, we’ve probably been there and done it ourselves!

So what does it involve?

As your advocate we’ll listen to your views and concerns, help you explore your options and rights without pressure, and provide information to help you make informed decisions. We will also help you contact the relevant people in your situation, or contact them on your behalf. Essentially, we’re here to make sure your voice is heard!

We help handlers facing access issues or discrimination that may have arisen as a result of their Assistance Dog in areas such as:

  • Housing
  • Education
  • Medical settings
  • Employment

Our advocacy service will always operate on a ‘Pay What You Can Afford’ basis, ensuring it is accessible to all who need it.
